Trouble-Shooting - Ufone 4G

Troubleshoot

  • Network Selection: Check if the handset is set to Automatic Network Selection. If not, manually search and select the partner network.
  • Data Roaming Activation: dial *506# and activate Data IR service (FOC) for prepaid Customers only.
  • Handset Compatibility: Verify if the handset supports required bands (2G/3G/4G/VoLTE) in the roaming destination.
  • APN Settings: Ensure correct internet APN is configured for data roaming. i.e., ufone.pinternet (prepaid Customers)
  • SIM & Device Restart: Reinsert SIM card and restart device to refresh network registration.
  • Balance: Check sufficient balance availability for IR usage.
  • VoLTE Roaming: For VoLTE destinations (Currently USA) , ensure VoLTE is enabled on handset for Calling facility.
