Voice SMS
Ufone has launched Voice SMS service to extend a platform for user(s) who fall under the literacy rate and don’t have the access to smart phone and/or internet. The service will allow users to send 30 seconds Voice SMS on B-Party number similar to what we experience on Whatsapp.

What is the Voice SMS Service?
Voice SMS is a service that allows users to send short voice messages instead of traditional text messages. It works on any mobile phone, without requiring internet access or a smartphone.
How can I send a Voice SMS?
You can send a Voice SMS by dialling 4002, recording your message, and sending it to the recipient’s number.
Can the recipient listen to my Voice SMS without a smartphone?
Yes, the recipient can listen to the message on any mobile phone, even without a smartphone or internet.
Who can use the Voice SMS service?
All Ufone Prepaid customers can use the Voice SMS service
What are the charges for sending a Voice SMS?
Rs. 1.5+ tax/day
Rs. 1.2+tax/per voice SMS exceeding limit
Can I replay a Voice SMS?
Yes, you can replay the Voice SMS by dialling 4002 and selecting the replay option.
Can I send a Voice SMS to multiple people at once?
Currently, Voice SMS is sent to one number at a time. However, you can send the same message to multiple numbers individually. Additionally, calls made to the prefix (e.g., 143331234567) will be charged at the standard call rate. If the user has an active call package, the call will consume their available voice minutes.

What happens if the recipient’s phone is switched off?
If the recipient’s phone is off, they will receive the Voice SMS as soon as they turn it back on.
Can I block Voice SMS messages from a specific number?
Currently, there is no blocking feature for Voice SMS. However, you can ignore or delete unwanted messages.
Is there a way to check my Voice SMS history?
Yes, there is a saved history for Voice SMS messages.
Can I use Voice SMS without balance?
No, you need sufficient balance to send a Voice SMS.
How can I unsubscribe from the Voice SMS service?
You can unsubscribe by sending UNSUB to 4002 or dialling *4002#.
Can postpaid number subscribe to the Voice SMS service?
No, postpaid number can listen to the messages received from prepaid number but cannot subscribe to the service
Users can send up to 5 Voice SMS per day free of charge. If the limit is exceeded, 6th Voice SMS will be charged at Rs. 1.20 + tax per message and 7th and onwards messages will FOC for the whole day. Additionally, calls made to the prefix (e.g., 143331234567) will be charged at the standard call rate. If the user has an active call package, the call will consume their available voice minutes.

These terms and conditions are in addition to the general terms and conditions duly approved by PTA and agreed to by the customer in CSAF/eCSAF at the time of activation of connection/SIM.
Ufone 4G reserves the right/discretion to set/change the price/rate of any offer/package/bundle or withdraw/change/revoke such offer/package/bundle at any time. Where required under PTA’s regulations, prior notice is given to affected customers accordingly.
Offer price/charges of each offer/package/bundle shall be subject to all applicable taxes, if any, irrespective of the area of the country the requisite offer/service/package/bundle is activated or availed in.
The charging system reserves a certain proportion of available data volume in MBs of your package against opening/accessing each application/website on the device. Therefore, the simultaneous opening/accessing of multiple applications and/or websites may result in reserving all your available data volume in MBs of your package and may start charging on the base rate of your package.
The amount of balance and recharge required for bundles may be rounded to the nearest whole number.
